Knitting Facility

The Dance of Unfading Colors

The yarns, which go through a meticulous control process in a fully integrated yarn laboratory, are transformed into raw fabrics tailored to customer-specific requests. With our existing machinery, besides having capabilities in pattern design, we provide the possibility of producing new quality options specifically tailored to customers using different yarn types, numbers, and color combinations.

With a team of 200 experts and an approximate production area of 10,000 m², our facility is equipped with 190 circular knitting machines. Thanks to these machines, we achieve a daily capacity of 30 tons with uninterrupted 24-hour production. In order to produce fabrics in accordance with the desired quality standards, we carry out a comprehensive quality control process with 6 open-width control machines and 2 tube control machines. In addition, 50 circular knitting machines are monitored in real-time at 100% through a Smart camera system.

Our facility, through state-of-the-art automation and quality control systems, aims to maintain the highest level of precision and excellence at every stage. This approach, which aims to keep customer satisfaction at the highest level, guarantees the reliability, durability, and aesthetic quality of our products.

Automation and Quality Control in Production

The Smartex System offers an automation and artificial intelligence-based solution that optimizes production processes. Instead of manually entering order information on the user interface tablet to start production quickly, you can easily integrate data with barcode or QR code scans. Then, SMX cameras automatically inspect 100% of the fabric and analyze these images in real-time using Smartex's powerful artificial intelligence algorithms. Detected errors are marked, and employees can verify them from the tablet screen or directly on the fabric. Predefined events allow the machine to automatically stop the process and alert the operator to intervene in case of errors. This process reduces fabric waste, increases quality control, and optimizes efficiency. Additionally, the Smartex System monitors production continuously and sends automatic alerts when needed, ensuring 24/7 oversight. The Smartex System makes production processes more efficient and professional, saving time and costs.

Key Components in Knitted Fabric Production

Knitted fabric production is one of the key components of the textile industry, and quality is a critical factor at the heart of this process. High-quality knitted fabrics combine durability, comfort, aesthetics, and functionality, offering superior products to both consumers and manufacturers. In this article, we will examine professional approaches and practices required to ensure quality in knitted fabric production.

1. Selection and Assessment of Raw Materials The foundation of quality knitted fabric production lies in the selection of high-quality raw materials. Factors such as the type, quality, and length of yarn directly affect the durability and texture characteristics of the final product. Ensuring the procurement of standard-compliant and high-quality yarns by collaborating with raw material suppliers is essential.

2. Production Technology and Process Control Optimizing the technology and processes used in knitted fabric production is a critical factor that determines quality. Automation systems can reduce error rates and increase repeatability. Monitoring and controlling processes are important for compliance with standards and maintaining consistent quality.

3. Quality Control and Testing Stages Quality control should be carried out at every stage of the production process. Various tests such as sample tests, yarn strength tests, colorfastness tests, and abrasion tests are used to determine fabric quality. Regularly conducting these tests and analyzing the results are crucial for monitoring and improving product quality.

4. Colorfastness and Dyeing Process The colorfastness of knitted fabrics directly affects their aesthetic appearance and consumer satisfaction. High-quality dyeing processes ensure that colors do not fade even after washing, maintaining durability. Dye materials, processing methods, and color matching should be managed meticulously.

5. Functional and Technical Performance The functionality and technical performance that knitted fabrics offer to end-users constitute another dimension of quality. For example, features such as moisture absorption in sportswear, seam durability, and elasticity determine product quality. Testing these features and ensuring compliance with established standards is essential.

6. Sustainability and Production Ethics Quality knitted fabric production encompasses not only technical and functional aspects but also sustainability and ethical responsibilities. Factors such as the sustainability of raw material sourcing, waste management, and compliance with working conditions are complementary elements of quality.

Quality is a fundamental element in knitted fabric production, contributing to the success and customer satisfaction. Professional approaches rigorously applied at every stage, from raw material selection to production processes, quality control, and testing, ensure the creation of competitive products that meet high standards. Quality management is an indispensable strategy for the long-term success of textile manufacturers and reflects their ability to adapt to changing demands in the industry.
